Recent work includes providing ongoing communications strategy, grant writing, and content development for CUNY; a content and rebranding overhaul for a public affairs consultancy; and communications strategy, media relations services, and op-ed writing for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation. Andrea also guest lectures about storytelling for science-based graduate students exploring entrepreneurship as part of the Innovation Corps (I-Corps) initiative, a National Science Foundation funded program at CUNY. She has edited numerous state and federal grant proposals for Columbia and CUNY, primarily in the realms of engineering, science, and technology. For three years, Andrea also served in a volunteer capacity developing marketing materials and executive communications for her son’s preschool, Park Children’s Day School.

She has also worked with numerous nonfiction authors/professors including Niobe Way (NYU), Thomas J. Tierney (The Bridgespan Group), Paul Osterman (MIT), and Harry Holzer (Georgetown).
